After more than 20 years in the hair industry, creating beautiful, lived-in hair and meaningful client relationships has become so much more than a career — it’s something I genuinely love.
For the past five years, I co-owned Hare & Hunter, where I grew not only as a stylist, but also as a business owner, leader and educator. Opening Maple Hair Studio was inspired by a desire to create something more personal and intentional — a space that allows me to be closer to my family while continuing to offer a relaxed, elevated salon experience for my clients.

With over 20 years of experience in the hair industry, Alix brings a calm, personalised approach to every appointment. She loves creating beautiful low-maintenance colour and lived-in blondes that grow out softly and effortlessly.
After spending the past two years at H & Co, Alix is now enjoying the more intimate, one-on-one experience at Maple Hair Studio, where she can focus on creating a relaxed and tailored experience for each client. Based in Muriwai with her family, Alix brings a warm, relaxed energy to the salon while delivering effortlessly beautiful hair.
